On 29th of October, Oncodia released a scheduled update of VARify to version 1.1.0. The new version adequately solves the problem of conflicting requirements of the clinical centers. Some laboratories prefer to have highly selective mutation output in a short and highly relevant mutation report. Other laboratories prefer to have highly sensitive output with a lot of possible mutations. Now, VARify 1.1.0 can operate in either of the two modes. Also, it incorporates new functionalities such as a read-cutter, complementing the existing read-trimmer module. We have addressed the error handling and several small issues reported after the last release and also updated the user manual.
